The shoulder is what defines this coat. Epaulettes emphasise the line across the top, giving the whole silhouette a sharper, more architectural feel than a soft-shouldered coat would. Notched lapels and a loose body keep it wearable, and the polyester and nylon blend has enough weight to hang properly.
