Lighter than a winter coat and more considered than a jacket, this is the layer for the in-between months. A turn-down lapel collar and a single-breasted front give it a casual, unfussy line.

Because it is cut thin, it works over a shirt or a fine knit without the outline going heavy. Useful in early autumn and again in spring, when a padded coat is too much but bare sleeves are not enough.
